Usb 2.0 Ethernet Adapter Driver For Mac Os Sierra

I installed Sierra and all drivers for motherboard, but ethernet is not working. I tried to install all different drivers from multibeast. Also usb 3 ports are not working only usb 2.0. I installed Nvidia fix in multibeast and it looks ok, but i am not sure how to check if its ok. The LAN9512/LAN9512i contain a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 hub with two fully-integrated downstream USB 2.0 PHYs, an integrated upstream USB 2.0 PHY, a 10/100 Ethernet MAC/PHY controller, and an EEPROM controller. This offers Microchip's highest level of USB 2.0 and 10/100 Ethernet compliance and interoperability.

My ethernet port fried due to a thunderstorm power surge so purchased adapter.

It came with asix drivers AX88772B and A which would not load, probably not for Mac OSX Sierra so searched forums and downloaded and installed Asix latest drivers 88179 for USB3.0 to Ethernet.

Followed instructions and after install went to hardware USB showed driver installed but no mention of manufacturer just that component is there.


Went to Network in System preferences but no mention of USB Ethernet being installed .
